red braise pork I know I know it is from china but it is a very nice simple dish fry 6 spring onion with one or two slice of ginger half start anise one small piece of cassia bark one bay leave add 250gr of belly pork fry for 2 minutes then had 200ml of shaosing rice wine add 2 tbsp of dark soy sauce 2 tbsp of light soy sauce a piece of rock sugar cover with water 100ml of dark vinegar put a lid on and cook for 40 minutes to one hour then served with rice
